The design process began with a deep dive into understanding the logistics industry and the specific needs of E-GATE SHIPPING SERVICES LTD. Through a combination of stakeholder interviews, competitor analysis, and user research, I gathered insights into the day-to-day challenges faced by each user group: Shippers, Forwarders, and Admins.
Based on the research findings, I mapped out the user flows for each user type to ensure that the platform would meet their needs in an intuitive way. I then defined the Information Architecture (IA), structuring the app into three main modules: Shipper, Forwarder, and Admin. The goal was to ensure that users could quickly navigate to the tools and information they needed without friction.
I started with low-fidelity wireframes to outline the layout and structure of both the landing page and the web application. These wireframes provided a visual representation of how users would interact with the system, helping to ensure that the design would be both functional and user-friendly.
After iterating on the wireframes, I moved into high-fidelity visual design. The visual design aligned with E-GATE’s branding while ensuring that the platform remained intuitive and user-friendly across all devices.
